Job Summary: The Pharmacy Assistant assists the Pharmacist in prescription filling and administrative duties, supporting all aspects of Pharmacy Operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

1. Receiving and evaluating patient prescriptions according to regulations, prioritizing as per guidelines.
2. Entering data, verifying prices, updating patient information, interpreting prescriptions, and processing renewals on computer.
3. Filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, selecting appropriate products, verifying accuracy, labeling, and obtaining approvals for renewals.
4. Managing stock levels, verifying and removing expired medications, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.
6. Performing administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, invoices, reports, and handling correspondence.
7. Supporting PVL operations, including stock management and cashier duties as assigned.

Minimum skills: Age 16 or older.
