The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well-being, and are looking for a REGISTERED NURSE to help fulfill our mission.
We are currently seeking a part-time Registered Nurse. Since we care for children, weekend and night work are included in our shifts. The staff nurse assumes duties assigned by the Medical Coordinator, including maintaining records, arranging medical care, monitoring health needs, executing physicians' orders, assisting with preventive health and hygiene, caring for sick children, and assessing medical needs.
Schedule: Sunday-Monday, 9am-7pm, plus one hour weekly for meetings and supervision. Tuesday-Saturday off.
