Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding friendly customer service.
2. Follow all company policies and procedures.
3. Maintain cleanliness of check-stands and assist with spill and breakage cleanup.
4. Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance per company policy.
5. Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by supervision.
6. Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
7. Support safety standards and report equipment issues.
8. Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
9. Perform accurate price checks.
10. Manage store supplies to prevent waste.
11. Sweep floors and assist with cleaning duties.
12. Assist with spill and breakage cleanup to prevent hazards.
13. Observe security standards and report suspicious behavior.
14. Keep the store clean and orderly inside and outside.
15. Sort returnable bottles according to vendor requirements where applicable.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum age requirements for specific tasks.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks.
• Ability to meet technical job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent repetitive motions while standing.
• Bend and lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Handle various substances including cleaning and household products.
• Work in or out of inclement weather.
• Gather and push shopping carts.
• Move bottles and containers from front to back room where applicable.

Preferred Requirements:

• Greet customers and offer prompt assistance.
• Bag or package merchandise per policies.
• Sort and return stock items efficiently.
• Manage shopping carts and provide carryout service.
• Record bottle returns accurately and operate bottle crushing equipment safely.
• Meet physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodations.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
