We are currently seeking part-time independent contractor Psychotherapists / Social Workers to provide individual and couples therapy. This position is HYBRID in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

ABOUT US

KCC is a virtual group psychotherapy practice in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals, families, and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, neurodivergent experiences, and spiritual beliefs.

We specialize in supporting individuals, couples, neurodivergent folks, and folks on the 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum. All of our clinicians have lived experience with their own wellness, identity, and/or relationship journeys, as well as professional expertise in psychotherapy and social work. We use a client-centered, integrative approach to help our clients live authentic and meaningful lives.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate…

  • Has a Master’s degree and is registered with the OCSWSSW or CRPO
  • Has 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Is confident and compassionate
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Shares similar values with the company
  • Can work in person at our Barrie location on Tuesday or Friday evenings, and/or Saturday and Sunday days
  • Can see a minimum of 10 clients per week (up to 20)
  • Is confident working with:
    • Individuals and Couples (monogamous and polyamorous/open)
    • The 2SLGBTQIA+ community
    • Folks with a trauma background
