Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Psychometrist to join the BC Psychosis Program at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC.

As a Psychometrist with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:
  1. Receive work direction from a Psychologist, and conduct standardized neuropsychological/psychometric tests to assess cognitive functioning, education level, learning difficulties, personality, quality of life, and vocational interests.
  2. Provide psychologists with written and/or verbal summaries of test results, client performance, and behavior to assist in diagnosis and treatment interventions.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
  • Two years' direct neuropsychological/psychometric testing experience with various clinical populations or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Eligible for certification with the Board of Certified Psychometrists.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of psychology assessment and treatment methods and tools.
  • Ability to accurately administer and score standardized tests.
  • Knowledge of the Board of Certified Psychometrists Code of Ethics and standards of practice.
  • Strong communication skills to deal effectively with co-workers, clients, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Physical ability to perform duties and operate related equipment.

The hours of work and work area may be subject to change. Successful applicants may need to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
