Job summary

Recovery Alberta is seeking a qualified Psychometrist I to support psychological assessment under licensed psychologists. You will administer tests, score instruments, and record behavioral observations, aiding clinical decisions.

This role also supports research and evaluation activities within the Rundle Adult Inpatient Program. The successful candidate has a psychology bachelor’s degree, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and SPSS.

You will meet with patients and administer and score a variety of psychological tests and record behavioral observations. Your information and results are provided to effectively support the psychologist(s) responsible for interpreting assessment data and any related clinical decision making or recommendations. You may also provide support to psychologists in their research and or evaluation activities. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology from an accredited university.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Familiarity with Word, Excel and SPSS is essential. You should have strong communication and organization skills as well as a demonstrated ability to produce accurate, detail-oriented work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Course work in Psychometrics and statistics is also recommended. Experience working with mental health clients or other vulnerable populations in addition to experience with administration of psychological instruments is highly desirable.
