About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, Mental Health & Addictions Specialty Services and under the direct supervision of a Registered Psychologist, the Psychology Technician provides psychological testing, scoring and reporting of results to the Psychologist. Other clinical, educational and patient research functions may be provided depending on service needs. The aim of this position is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery through facilitating timely triage and assessment processes within the clinic.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Honors’ degree in Psychology with a minimum of one-year related experience
  • Candidates should have a strong interest in clinical and research activities related to mental health
  • Candidates must demonstrate maturity, excellent organizational skills, and a capacity to work effectively with vulnerable and at-risk client groups
  • Proficiency in the administration and scoring of psychological tests will be expected, with preference given to those candidates with knowledge of risk assessment
  • Experience working with database, word-processing, and statistical programs (e.g., SPSS) are considered to be an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Permanent, Part-Time (30%) / 22.5 Hours Bi-Weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$34.64 - $41.44 Hourly
