Join to apply for the Psychologist/Psychological Associate/Psychoeducational Consultant role at Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is a dynamic organization committed to delivering quality educational programs and services. We serve over 73,000 students across 151 facilities, including 125 elementary and 26 secondary schools, in the municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Psychologist/Psychological Associate/Psycho-Educational Consultant.

Position Details:

  • Type: Contract - Full-Time/Part-Time
  • Start Date: Effective Immediately Throughout the Academic Year
  • Salary Range: $70,574 - $113,928 (Master's Degree), $80,403 - $123,941 (Ph.D. in Psychology)
  • Additional Compensation: $2,363 for doctoral degree holders, $1,600 for Master’s degree holders with Psychological Associate registration, prorated based on FTE and contract length
  • Locations: Multiple locations across the board

Position Summary:

Psychologists, Psychological Associates, and Psycho-Educational Consultants work under the supervision of the Superintendent of Special Education and Learning Services, and the clinical direction of the Chief Psychologist. They apply their knowledge of human behavior, development, and mental health to support students' learning and well-being through assessment, intervention, and consultation. Psychoeducational Consultants provide services under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Psychologists: Doctoral degree in School, Clinical, or Counselling Psychology; registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
  • Psychological Associates: Master's degree in relevant psychology fields; registration or working towards registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
  • Psycho-Educational Consultants: Master's degree; working towards registration for independent practice.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Experience in school psychology and administering psychological assessments is an asset.
