Job summary

GLA Rehab in Ontario seeks a qualified psychologist to assess and diagnose behavioural, emotional, and cognitive disorders. You will provide counselling to support clients’ personal, social and vocational development, and communicate findings clearly in verbal and written reports.

Responsibilities include applying psychological theory to treatment plans, planning interventions, and maintaining client notes. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours enable community-based service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to use standard psychological tests for assessment.
  • Plan intervention programs and conduct program evaluation.
  • Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes to develop treatment programs.
  • C-CAT certified for catastrophic assessment (asset).
  • Psycho-vocational training is an asset.
  • Certified neuropsychologist is an asset.
  • Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Spinal Cord Injury is preferred.
  • Valid G Drivers License with access to a reliable vehicle as work is community based.
  • Completes required client notes and documentation after each visit.
