We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Specialized Services department.
Within the context of a client and family-centered recovery model and in accordance with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia established standards of professional practice and the vision and values of the organization, the position is in charge of psychological services provided to a section of the facility/program for the designated scope of practice area. Working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, the psychologist completes psychological assessments, informs and supports psychological treatment and evidence-based therapy, evaluates the effectiveness and appropriateness of treatment, and facilitates education of clients. The role also involves maintaining client records, liaising with external agencies, attending clinical/case conferences, providing consultations, participating in quality improvement and risk management activities, offering clinical teaching and supervision to Psychology Residents and students, and conducting research.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30
