Effective March 2025 – June 2026

Peace Collaborative Services (PCS) is a regional organization providing specialized educational support services across five Northwestern Alberta school jurisdictions. Grande Prairie Public School Division employs PCS staff on behalf of jurisdictions in the region. PCS is seeking a psychologist to join their multi-disciplinary school team. The ideal candidate is energetic and enjoys working with children from Preschool through Grade 12, collaborating to integrate student programming with disciplines such as Speech-Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy.

Being Part Of Our Dynamic Team, You Will
Help Make a Difference – Provide Individual Child Services
  • Develop intervention programs, conduct periodic re-assessment/evaluation of individual programs, and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Provide direct treatment intervention to specific children
  • Participate in case conferences, parent interviews, medical consultations, and clinic programming
Take a Leadership Role - Oversee Program Services
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a quality assurance program
  • Provide input into annual operating and capital equipment budgets
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of group programs
  • Attend staff, department, and other meetings as required
Qualifications
  • Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required
  • Provisional psychologists will be considered; supervision is available
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check
  • Pediatric experience is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic learner with excellent problem-solving skills
