Psychologist
The WCB return to work programs provide psychosocial and physical therapy to injured clients while promoting the client's readiness for work. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality individual and group psychotherapy for the treatment of work injuries. The psychologist position requires you to be working closely within a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and kinesiologists. This team environment also includes plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other psychologists. In-person care is required; however, there are opportunities for creating a hybrid schedule with virtual care services.
You will provide top quality whole-person care using your client-centered biopsychosocial approach with both interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams (i.e., physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, vocational rehab specialist, case coordinators) and interdisciplinary mental health teams (psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, occupational therapists).
