Job summary

Nova Scotia Health in Yarmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatrician to join our expanding rural network. This 1.0 FTE role supports community-based and hospital pediatric care, with flexibility within a thriving healthcare ecosystem and opportunities to contribute to a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.

Remuneration is Fee For Service with relocation incentives; successful candidates may access benefits and professional development supports as part of Nova Scotia

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.
• Provide direct clinical outpatient care
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care and coordination for the mental health unit at Yarmouth Regional Hospital
• Provide emergency medicine services in conjunction with our crisis team
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
