Opportunity for a General Adult Psychiatrist at Vernon Jubilee Hospital

Join the expanding Psychiatry department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and experience career satisfaction within a strong culture of teamwork and excellence in care.

Our dedicated team of 9 Psychiatrists provides services to VJH’s 17-bed inpatient psychiatry unit, consults to medical/surgical units and the emergency department, and maintains a community-based practice. There is a specific need for psychiatry support on the Adult Community Support Services team, which treats patients with serious and persistent mental illnesses through intensive case management.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across acute and community settings, providing a continuum of care. In the community, you'll be an integral part of the mental health team, offering outreach and telepsychiatry services throughout the North Okanagan region, from Vernon to Revelstoke.
