Job summary

Terwillegar Park Medical Clinic in Edmonton, AB is recruiting a Psychiatrist to diagnose and treat mood and psychotic disorders. The position is on site at various locations with a salary of $120.00 hourly for a 44-hour work week.

We offer permanent, full-time employment with evening, day, and weekend shifts. Starts as soon as possible. Two vacancies are available for qualified physicians able to work at the clinic’s physical locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
• Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose psychiatric disorders
• Prescribe medication and treatment
• Treat psychiatric disorders
• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
• Examine the patient
