Job summary

The Royal at Brockville Mental Health Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse (Program Nurse) for a temporary full-time position in the Secure Treatment Unit. The role focuses on psychiatric nursing within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safe care.

Under the Risk Needs Responsivity model, you will apply evidence-based practices, complete routine assessments, participate in treatment planning, and ensure compliance with MHA and CNON standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ontario and registration in good standing.
• CPR/BCLS certification within the last 12 months.
• Knowledge of mental health/addiction issues with relevant legislation.
• Clear understanding of nursing practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care on the Secure Treatment Unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess and respond to patient needs with a focus on safety and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with MHA, CNON standards and organizational policies.
