We are currently seeking a relief full time Psychiatric Aide to join our team at the Hillside Centre - Interior Adult Psychiatric Centre in Kamloops, B.C. This relief position is until August 7, 2026 or return of the incumbent.

What Will You Work On?
The Psychiatric Aide performs a variety of duties in the personal care and emotional support of patients. These duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, standards and philosophies of Hillside Interior Acute Psychiatric Centre; Tertiary Mental Health and Addictions Services, and Interior Health.
About This Unit
Hillside Centre is a 47-bed inpatient tertiary psychiatric facility located in Kamloops, BC. It provides specialized treatment for those with the most complex mental health disorders, both adults and elderly individuals who cannot be cared for in the psychiatric system in their own area, not just within Interior Health but throughout the province.

• Psychosocial Rehabilitation Strategies To Promote Stabilization And Reintegration Into The Community

Major Psychiatric Treatment Programs Offered At Hillside Are:

• Neuropsychiatry

• Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Scheduling Information
Shifts will be rotating days and nights with shift times of 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
