As a Provider Payment Coordinator, you will have to optimize cost containment solutions for bills assigned to First Level Negotiations and help to ensure fair claims payment for our clients.

What does your typical day look like?

  • Perform initial analysis of medical provider bills received
  • Determine the best course of action for provider bills based on internal data and tools
  • Negotiate on small-dollar claims to ensure fair and reasonable payment for our clients using different benchmarking methods
  • Ensure positive provider relationships are developed and maintained
  • Propose cost-effective solutions to providers for future payments
  • Being present in the Sherbrooke office is necessary for this role.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role or other relevant work experience
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (other languages are an asset)
  • At ease with a broad range of technology platforms (including Microsoft Office).
