Job description

Reporting and Responsibilities

The Protection Services Officer reports to the Team Leader, Protection Services, and maintains and enforces security of persons and property following established policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements

Travel may be required. If applicable, transportation arrangements must meet operational needs, and the incumbent must be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Completion of recognized Basic and Advanced Security Training certification.
• Intermediate First Aid (formerly OFA Level 2).
• One year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid B.C. Security Guard License with handcuff endorsement.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
