Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma (technologist) in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or relevant fields
  • Be registered as a professional Engineer in Canada for the Engineer position
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in electrical apparatus maintenance, protection relay and control systems testing
  • Operational and brownfield experience with industrial and utility systems
  • Comfort working in severe weather conditions and remote locations with limited communication
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs regularly
  • Availability to travel within Canada and to client sites
  • Assets: Inter-Provincial Construction Electrician, Power Systems Electrician tickets, bilingual (English and French), experience in power control systems for generation and renewable energy, knowledge of protocols like DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850
