Overview: This individual will have responsibility for growing the prospects portion of the Marketing and Sales funnel. Utilizing various information sources and tools, the incumbent will find the right people to reach out to, and then work with the front end of the Life Sales teams to build relationships and qualify the prospect(s). This role will report to the Sales Enablement Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing, and following up on leads and appointment setting for the external sales team.
  2. Initiates lead/demand generation strategies that include outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  3. Initiates and participates in new business pitches with the sales team and subject matter experts, and owns follow-through with the lead prospect.
  4. Effectively communicate and present value proposition to customers.
  5. Work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  6. Achieve sales lead generation and appointment quotas.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Excellent communication skills; second language in German, French, or Italian would be an asset.
  2. Experience with lead generation and proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, Dunn and Bradstreet, and various other prospecting tools.
  3. Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written, and be skilled in prospecting via both phone and email.
  4. Highly self-motivated, while able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  5. Ability to multi-task daily projects and commitments and employ structured qualifying prospecting methods is required.
  6. College or university degree in the technical and engineering field, AND B2B prospecting experience in the life sciences industry.
