Director - Account and Resource Management - ITIL4

IBISKA is looking for a junior or intermediate proposal writer to join our dynamic and highly successful proposal response team. The proposal writers at IBISKA play a key role in the company's business development and service delivery strategy. They work collaboratively in focused multi-functional teams in the analysis, development, production, and submission of proposal responses, focusing on Information Technology professional services for the Federal Government.

We welcome applicants with some technical or business writing experience who enjoy working as part of a small team in a well-organized, creative, and fast-paced work environment.

  • Role and Responsibilities: Contribute to business development and service delivery through accurate analysis of clients' requests for professional services and the development of compliant responses.
  • Research and gather information and enlist the collaboration of individual candidates in the development of their profile in response to specific criteria for professional services.
  • Work in collaboration with the account and resource management team in the pre-qualification of candidates under IBISKA’s current contracts and in the management of contracts’ transition effort.
  • Liaise with clients during the development and submission of proposals.
  • Attend scheduled and ad-hoc meetings as required.

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Experience in areas of coordination, documentation writing, and/or editing.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to listen actively and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent collaboration skills: able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Problem-solving mindset: able to take initiative to identify issues and work to develop effective solutions to present to the team
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, can navigate change, and can handle multiple priorities concurrently and comfortably
  • Nice to have:Technical Writing (Graduate Certificate) and/or Bachelor’s University Degree (English, Communications, or related field preferred) or industry training in a related field
  • Must Have: At least 10 years as a resident of Canada and be eligible for a Government of Canada security clearance
  • Be available to work onsite in our office - downtown Ottawa.
