Job summary

BPA is seeking a Proposal Writer to prepare service proposals and marketing documents. You will read RFPs, organize kickoff meetings, collaborate on strategy, and research and write project content. You’ll manage timelines and ensure on-time submissions while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

The role requires a 3–5 year background in proposal writing or related fields, strong English skills, and proficiency in Word/Excel/InDesign. Hybrid work is offered with emphasis on balance and growth.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a similar role (consulting engineering, architecture, or construction) is asset.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong aptitude for writing and editing technical documents.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; knowledge of Excel and Adobe InDesign.
• Demonstrates thoroughness, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• 3-5 years experience in proposal writing, proposal coordination, bid management, marketing communication, technical writing, or a related field.
• Experience supporting RFP, RFQ, and proposal submissions is considered an asset.

• Performing layout and final assembly, while ensuring the quality of deliverables
• Coordinating the delivery and submission of the proposal document
• Keeping the proposal database up to date at all times

Your Responsibilities

The Proposal Writer will be primarily responsible for preparing service proposals and marketing documents. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of the role, and geographic location.
