Make an impact with our Proposal Management team as a Specialist. This diverse team of professionals understands and responds to client needs while positioning MNP as the service provider of choice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll create engaging, refined, and persuasive client proposals that contribute directly to the success of our firm and our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor bid search sites and disseminate information to key team members.
  • Follow up with bid recipients on bid decisions.
  • Participate in Go / No-Go process to evaluate which projects to pursue.
  • Help the proposal team identify winning strategies by understanding the buyer’s needs and challenging the status quo.
  • Create proposals tailored to the decision maker.
  • Coordinate the proposal development process from Go / No-Go to final delivery, including : kick-off, strategy development, writing review and approval, tracking proposal metrics, liaising with contributors, and proposal submission.
  • Create proposal drafts and coordinate with internal stakeholders to address project and client needs, representing our firm’s value proposition.
  • Facilitate collaboration between MNP stakeholders to produce proposals, presentations, and marketing materials aligned with our brand standards.
  • Understand and apply win themes and strategies to proposal submissions.
  • Collaborate on creating and managing proposal content and resumes.
  • Use the company database to track proposal information for reports, ensuring data accuracy and real-time updates.
  • Develop and send conflict-of-interest emails.
  • Research new ideas and participate in proposal debriefings for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a training resource and brand ambassador by sharing proposal best practices and learnings.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • A university degree or diploma in business, communications, creative writing, journalism, or a related field.
  • Superior written and verbal French skills; English skills are a strong asset.
  • Project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines within short timeframes.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write and develop innovative, compelling, and persuasive proposals.
  • Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
  • Assets include : APMP designation, experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, prior experience in consulting or professional services proposal development.
