RVA’s Proposal team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Proposal Coordinator / Writer to support the proposal process and marketing initiatives.

Duties

1. Assess proposal requirements, develop compliant outlines, and compile, edit, and write proposal components in accordance with RFQ/RFP requirements.
2. Research within internal systems to gather necessary information and documentation.
3. Manage multiple proposal submissions across disciplines to meet company goals.
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts across locations to gather information.
5. Participate in proposal strategy meetings to identify key issues and differentiators.
6. Compile content from experts into clear, persuasive proposals that convey strategy and are technically accurate.
7. Format proposal components to meet client and branding guidelines.
8. Perform quality control to ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.
9. Attend internal debriefings with clients for future improvements.
10. Communicate with internal teams as needed.
11. Conduct research and interviews to support internal and external communications, including marketing materials and submissions.
12. Assist with other marketing and corporate initiatives as required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, English, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 3-5 years of proposal-related experience; experience in a professional service firm preferred.
3. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines.
4. Entrepreneurial, confident, self-starter with initiative.
5. Capable of managing multiple projects under tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
6. Intermediate knowledge of Office 365.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
8. High attention to detail for compliance with client requirements.
9. Ability to simplify complex technical information for a general audience.
