Proposal Coordinator

Reporting to the Proposals Lead, the Proposal Coordinator's primary responsibilities revolve around orchestrating the entire proposal development process to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient submissions.

This position will be based in Richmond, BC.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Coordinate and manage opportunity strategies with the district to ensure alignment with Bird's values and vision.

  • Read and distribute Request for Pre-Qualification/Request for Proposal (RFPQ/RFP) information to the pursuit team.

  • Create and distribute the responsibility matrix with the pursuit team.

  • Create new and update employee resumes and project sheets as needed.

  • Contribute to and support the development of win strategies.

  • Craft compelling narratives that showcase our strengths.

  • Host various engagement sessions (internal and external) to support opportunity assessment activities.

  • Manage deadlines, facilitate team meetings, draft tailored content, and oversee the logistics of proposal production and delivery.

  • Create collateral and pursuit content for early engagement materials.

  • Assist the district with go/no-go decision-making processes and procedures.

  • Develop storyboards and engagement materials to support the execution of pursuit strategies aligned with the win strategy.

  • Conduct post-submission reviews, collaborating closely with the proposal lead, while integrating stakeholder feedback.

What We Are Looking For
  • Blend of expertise and experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, ideally holding an undergraduate degree or diploma in these areas.

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing with a focus on proposal creation.

  • Previous exposure to corporate construction, architecture, or engineering environments is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office tools is essential, with experience in CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics considered a bonus.

  • Excellent project coordination skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Capacity to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Strong time management skills, adaptability to dynamic work environments, and a meticulous attention to detail are key attributes we value.

  • An ability to multitask, think critically, solve problems, and maintain a sense of urgency while working towards goals in a fast-paced setting are crucial for this role.

As per Section 2 of the BC Pay Transparency Act, this position is eligible for a compensation range of $70,000 - $90,000/year.
