Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals, bids and tenders in response to client requests. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of high-quality documents.

You will support business development by gathering information, maintaining document controls, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams to produce compelling and compliant proposals for the mining sector.

Qualifications

• Required: Diploma in related field, compiling, issuing, and transmitting high quality documents to company standards
• Preferred: Post-secondary education in Office Administration and/or Technical Writing
• Required: 2 years office-related experience
• Preferred: 5 years in office administration, with experience/knowledge in stylistic editing/writing/proofreading of contracts and proposals
• Computer Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat/InDesign

Responsibilities

• Project and proposal document creation, editing, proofreading, and formatting as directed
• Active participation in proposal coordination
• Creation of fillable PDFs and charts as required
• SharePoint document upload and tagging, maintenance of libraries/lists
• InEight data entry, tagging, maintenance and reporting
• Update of commercial/operational reports and project profiles
• Update procedures and manuals as directed
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information
• Administrative support to Engineering, Estimating, Project Controls, Operations and Contract Services
• Filing, scanning, meeting setup/minuting, and document control

Job description

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and submitting high-quality proposals, bids and tenders in response to client requests (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs). The role supports business development efforts by ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, well-structured, and submitted on time.

Responsibilities

• Project and proposal document creation, editing, proofreading, and formatting as directed
• Active participation in proposal coordination
• Creation and/or completion of fillable pdf documents, organizational charts or other graphs/charts as required
• SharePoint document upload and tagging, including maintenance of libraries or lists
• InEight (database) data entry, tagging, maintenance and reporting
• Update of commercial and/or operational reports, project profiles, and other documents
• Update procedures and manuals as directed
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information
• Administrative support to the Engineering, Estimating, Project Controls, Operations and Contract Services departments as required
• Duties such as filing, scanning, setting up and moderating/minuting meetings, and document control

Salary Range (Base): $53,500 - $73,600 - Based on knowledge, skills and experience.
