Job summary

WestUrban Developments Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a part-time Property Services Assistant to join our Property Management team.

You will support leasing, maintenance coordination, and customer service for rental properties under the direction of the Property Manager. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in multi-residential property management, a High School Diploma, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; Buildum familiarity and Landlord Tenant Act knowledge are a bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in multi-residential property management.
• Completion of High School Diploma.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required, Buildum is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Landlord Tenant Act.
• Knowledge of building operations, building safety and fire safety requirements.
• Exceptional customer service skills; professional written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Foster a friendly and professional environment for residents and tenants.
• Provide prompt, courteous responses to calls and messages (within 24–48 hours).
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for properties.
• Show available suites to prospective residents and support occupancy maintenance.
• Coordinate move-out inspections and schedule maintenance/cleaning for new tenants.
• Oversee on-site cleaners and assist with purchasing of office and cleaning supplies.
• Perform exterior maintenance tasks and maintain lobby/commons areas.
• Enforce building rules and communicate notices to tenants.
