Salary: $18.75

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and organized Building Superintendent to join our property management team. This role is key to ensuring a clean, well-maintained building environment and supporting essential operations like utility tracking and rent follow-up.

Responsibilities

1. Keep all common areas clean and tidy (hallways, lobby, stairwells, laundry room, etc.)
2. Perform regular building checks and report any maintenance issues
3. Record and submit monthly hydro (electricity) readings for each unit
4. Follow up with tenants when rent is overdue
5. Deliver notices and maintain proper documentation related to rent collection
6. Respond to tenant inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications

1. Experience in property maintenance or a similar role is an asset
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
3. Comfortable tracking and reporting data (hydro readings)
4. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Construction experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) considered an asset
7. Experience cleaning and maintaining property (indoor & outdoor)
8. Experience managing tenants and utilizing the landlord tenant board when required
