Allied is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Operations to oversee and manage the performance of a portfolio of urban properties in Vancouver.

As owners, team members contribute to strategic asset plans and coordinate activities supporting the portfolio.

What will you do?

  • Manage suppliers and contractors to ensure service levels.
  • Conduct property inspections and review asset plans.
  • Liaise on safety and environmental matters.
  • Oversee property administration and legal issues.
  • Review and appeal property tax assessments.
  • Support building intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate on maintenance and facilities management.
  • Assist in repositioning, capital projects, energy retrofits, and tenant improvements.
  • Support sustainability initiatives to meet ESG targets.
  • Lead third-party building certifications, if applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  • Support management agreement compliance and other duties.

Strategic Asset Planning

  • Lead portfolio and property planning, Asset Plans, and budgets.
  • Identify value creation opportunities and perform cash flow analyses.
  • Make leasing and capital improvement recommendations.
  • Support acquisition, development, and disposition activities.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct market research and financial reviews.

User Experience

  • Build relationships with users and improve satisfaction.
  • Lead onboarding and review surveys to enhance engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Real Estate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • People management and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Financial modeling skills, especially with Excel.
  • Knowledge of real estate valuations and construction fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Assets

  • MBA or graduate degree in real estate or finance.
  • Industry designations.
  • Knowledge of Yardi software.
