Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  1. Painting, drywall repair
  2. Flooring installation
  3. Completing work orders in a timely manner
  4. Light HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
  5. Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  6. Lock installation and repairs
  7. Maintaining property grounds and common areas
  8. Minor plumbing and carpentry
  9. Appliance installation and repairs
  10. Responsible for inventory control
  11. Working with other service technicians
  12. Emergency, after hours maintenance
  13. Other duties as assigned/needed
  14. Provide after-hours emergency service for the department.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  3. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
  4. Ability to be on-call

NOTE: This is a mobile role (Service Technician), needs to travel between properties (Mostly Ottawa downtown, Carlingwood, Merivale).
