Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Work setting: Property management companies, Urban area

Tasks:

  1. Hire and supervise rental agents and building superintendents
  2. Negotiate or approve rental or lease of properties on behalf of property owner
  3. Ensure terms of lease agreements are met
  4. Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance
  5. Coordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation
  6. Monitor progress and cost of work for property owners
  7. Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income
  8. Prepare expense and income reports
  9. Ensure response to trouble calls from clients or tenants

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook

Area of specialization: Commercial properties, Low-rises (less than 8 stories)

Security and safety: Criminal record check, Credit check

Transportation / travel information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle
