A prominent transit company in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Property Database Clerk to maintain property files and databases. This role requires grade 12 education and experience in an administrative position within a real estate or legal office. The ideal candidate will provide database training and support other administrative roles. Responsibilities

Maintains electronic and physical property files and records within the Real Estate Operations department. Maintains the properties database. Provides database training to team members and internal stakeholders. Obtains title searches, registered documents and plans, from BC Land Title and Survey Authority (LTSA) and BC OnLine registry, to ascertain property ownerships, encumbrances, registered values, easements, and other property related information. Assists BTS System Application team, as required, with deployment of system improvements and system testing for the properties database, GIS interface and other information management systems. Provides clerical relief and support to other administrative positions within the department, as required.

Education

Qualifications

Requires Grade twelve (12) graduation, including courses in office administration, and MS office applications including but not limited to spreadsheet and word processing software.

Experience

Requires one (1) year prior experience in an administrative role in a real estate or legal office, utilizing property databases. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink and departmental policies, procedures and systems.

Other Information

Experience in real estate and / or database administration would be an asset.

Recruitment Process : An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

37.5 hours per week.

Rate of Pay

Salary $4,882.91 - $5,869.21 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
