Responsibilities

• Examines insurance policies and records to determine coverage.
• Interviews or corresponds with claimants and witnesses.
• Assesses property damage and liability, based on policy.
• Prepares findings reports and negotiates settlements with claimants.
• Recommends litigation when settlements can't be reached.
• Attends litigation hearings and revises case reserves.
• Assists in loss experience reporting to aid profitability.
