Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Property Claims Adjuster to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This is a contract position with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will support the team through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

1. Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
2. Accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files
3. Examine policies and settle claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations
4. Maintain accurate billing, and time and expense records
5. Work with managers to maintain client relations

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of technical experience in handling liability claims
2. Experience with field property claims – residential/commercial losses
3. Site attendance / Scoping / Meeting with Insured and contractors
4. Experience in Xactimate/Xactanalysis
5. Post-Secondary education in an insurance related field (asset)
6. Independent Adjusting License required
7. CIP Designation or working towards it
8. Experience in road adjusting including investigation and detailed reporting of multi-line claims
9. Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365
10. Outstanding customer service skills and a team player
