What’s in Store

We are looking for a Senior Property & Casualty Auditor. Davies’s Property and Casualty Audit Solutions division conducts approximately 300 audits annually, covering various types of audits within the Property & Casualty industry, including claim audits, underwriting file reviews, TPA audits, Coverholder MGA/carrier audits, reinsurance audits, premium audits, and compliance audits.

As the Senior Property & Casualty Auditor, you will develop customized audit plans tailored to client needs, ensuring a personalized auditing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist lead auditors on complex, high-level audit assignments
  • Draft accurate and comprehensive audit reports
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues at all levels
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
  • Perform comprehensive audits across property and casualty insurance areas, including claims, underwriting, and compliance
  • Develop individualized audit plans to meet client objectives
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with departments to implement audit recommendations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

This is a full-time, remote position based in Ontario, Halifax, or Vancouver, with some travel expected. HR Options will serve as your Employer of Record.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate’s degree or equivalent experience acceptable
  • 10+ years of multiline Property & Casualty claims experience preferred
  • 5+ years of claims auditing experience desired
  • Experience with the London market is a plus
  • Ability to perform detailed claim audits independently
  • Assist lead auditors on complex audits to develop skills
  • Draft accurate audit reports
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Some travel required
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Deep knowledge of property and casualty claims and underwriting processes
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both independently and within a team
