Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Property and Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team in southwestern Ontario. This is a hybrid role with a combination of work from home and field work. Candidates must reside in the Windsor/Essex, London/Middlesex, or Sarnia regions to handle field claims in person.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property and casualty claims. The candidate will participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.

Qualifications
  • 2 years of technical experience in an insurance claims environment, with strong knowledge of property claims is required. Knowledge of commercial lines will be considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field; working towards full license and CIP designation is an asset.
  • Proficient in CMS, including maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction, and reserve records.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
