Property Administrator, Site: 12-month contract

Join Hazelview Properties as a Property Administrator, Site: 12-month contract.

This role involves supporting the success of our apartment complexes by working closely with the site team to provide excellent customer service and administrative support.

Who You Are

Are you an aspiring Administrative Professional with a customer service focus? We are looking for someone to become a Building Admin, supporting our property operations and resident satisfaction.

Education & Experience

What You Need to Be Successful

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of related experience in customer service or administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Yardi, Email, Internet
  • Experience in multi-residential or similar industry is an asset
  • Knowledge of laws and rights concerning residents is an asset

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent support to residents
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and service requests
  • Assist residents with general questions about their suites, buildings, and community
Administration
  • Manage office operations, supplies, filing, emails, calls, and visitors
  • Provide information to residents and address concerns timely
  • Draft notices, monitor petty cash
  • Administer lease agreements, damages, security deposits
  • Coordinate lease renewals and assist regional management
  • Enforce lease terms, handle rent collection and notices
  • Manage vacancy notices, rent reports, receivables, and hearings
  • Process capital quotes, purchase orders, and special projects
Operations
  • Oversee building maintenance and cleanliness
  • Schedule service requests and coordinate move-ins/outs
  • Train on-site team members on operational procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Accounting
  • Support rent processing and review applications
  • Review rent rolls and receivables
  • Handle correspondence under housing laws
