Job summary

A commercial property management firm is looking for a Property Accountant in Metro Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of property accounting experience and will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, processing rental transactions, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Candidates with a CPA designation or experience in budgeting and recoveries are preferred. This position offers growth opportunities within commercial real estate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of property management accounting experience.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA considered an asset.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and recoveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial statements and reconciliations.
• Process management fees, rent rolls, tenant billings, and recoveries.
• Prepare tax filings and remittances.
