The position offers a hybrid work model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) with a salary range of 60,000–65,000 CAD annually.
Position Title: Property Accountant / Full-Cycle Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Accountant / Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to oversee the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong controls, and supporting property operations through timely and insightful financial information.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting, supported by a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with approximately five years of progressive experience—preferably within property management or real estate.
They possess a solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and accrual-based reporting, combined with at least three years of hands‑on experience using Yardi for residential and/or commercial property accounting.
Technically proficient, they are comfortable working with Excel and ERP systems, while also demonstrating a high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Just as important, they are an effective communicator who collaborates well with property managers and internal stakeholders to deliver clear, timely financial insights.
