What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned residential properties
  • Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with budget preparation
  • Ensure accuracy of tenant ledgers, vendor payments, and owner reports
  • Collaborate with Property Managers to resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Maintain property data and financial records in Yardi or similar systems
  • Support audit preparation and compliance with internal controls and policies
  • Respond to financial inquiries from tenants, vendors, and internal teams
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement and reporting efficiencies

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience (property accounting preferred)
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Buildium) is an asset
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and financial reporting knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
