Job summary

Superior Propane is seeking a Full-Time Class 1 Propane Driver to join our Grande Prairie team. You will deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, ensuring safety and efficiency in every route.

The role reports to the District Manager and requires a clean driving record and a strong focus on service and safety. We offer a competitive hourly wage, performance incentives, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plans with employer matching.

Qualifications

• High School education is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years driving experience.
• Picker truck experience is required.
• Oil field experience is preferred.
• Class 1 Driver's license with an air brake ticket and clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol testing.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects outdoors.
• Knowledge of using onboard truck computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers in a safe, efficient manner.
• Load and unload propane, following company and government policies.
• Coordinate with Delivery Coordinators on routes and geography knowledge.
• Complete daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Operate the picker trucks as needed.
• Comply with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

We are seeking a Full-Time Class 1 Propane Driver to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Propane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of product to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver propane to our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to company and government policies
• Collaborate with Delivery Coordinators regarding delivery routes and knowledge of geography
• Complete daily pre/post trip inspections
• Operate the picker trucks as needed
• Follow compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

What you bring:

• High School education.
• Minimum of 1-3 years driving experience
• Picker truck experience is required
• Oil field experience
• Class 1 Driver's license with an air brake ticket and clean drivers abstract.
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check and drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects on a regular basis and working outdoors.
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically the on-board truck computers.

Hourly Wage: $36/hr (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
