Reporting to the Market Manager and collaborating with the Delivery or Service Coordinator, the primary responsibility of the Propane Specialist is to deliver propane and support service as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane to and from containers (cylinders) for customers. Conduct asset verification.
- Notify the Delivery Coordinator of route or customer call changes.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained, including vehicle and site inspections, and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain equipment safety and report issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold the company's professional image.
- Load and unload propane tanks and equipment, ensuring safety and proper placement.
- Assist in installing, servicing, and repairing propane appliances and systems under supervision.
- Perform tank evacuations safely and prepare tanks for service, documenting all repairs.
What you bring:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum three years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid DZ Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs repetitively.
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency, especially with onboard truck computers.
