Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking an Occupational Hygiene Technologist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team in our Edmonton, Alberta office.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Occupational Hygiene Technologist will provide occupational hygiene and health and safety consulting services to our valued clients. If you are a passionate health and safety professional looking to develop a career path in industrial hygiene, this role is for you.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:
  • Conduct industrial hygiene assessments including worker exposure monitoring and sampling for chemical, physical, and biological agents at various work sites across the province.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Conduct safety compliance inspections and audits.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure needs, goals, and objectives are addressed and met.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships.
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team:
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Occupational Hygiene (or related field).
  • Six months to two years of professional experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client interfacing and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial processes and environments is an asset.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and execute detailed instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
