Regina, SK

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Consulting Team in our Regina office.

As the Project Technologist, reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our team by carefully assessing and monitoring various workplaces and building structures throughout Saskatchewan.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:
  1. Complete assessments for hazardous materials, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances, and workplace exposures.
  2. Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site-specific concerns.
  3. Perform inspections and evaluate building systems and materials.
  4. Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke, and fire.
  5. Use various equipment to record measurements and collect samples.
  6. Identify and sample suspect asbestos, lead, and PCB-containing materials.
  7. Interpret laboratory results.
  8. Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and providing recommendations.
  9. Inspect abatement and restoration contractors undertaking mould, asbestos, and other hazardous materials remediation work to ensure proper completion.
  10. Collect and analyze Phase Contract Microscope (PCM) asbestos air samples.
  11. Maintain and enhance quality control within the group.
  12. Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team
  1. Consulting industry experience is considered an asset.
  2. Experience with building construction or maintenance is an asset.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  4. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  6. Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a personal vehicle.
  7. Availability to travel throughout Saskatchewan.
  8. Willingness to work outside of core hours occasionally (evenings and weekends).
