Position Overview

Olysky LP is currently looking for a Project Manager - Electrical to join our team.

This position will be responsible for coordinating expense and capital projects, maintaining a positive work environment, focusing on OH&S, biosecurity, and animal welfare, and ensuring project budgets are adhered to.

General Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct supervision to all staff, including mentoring, delegation of work, and guidance to create a high-performance team (inspired, goal-focused, accountable).
  2. Provide training to ensure staff are properly trained on project requirements.
  3. Perform administrative duties such as work schedules, documentation, payroll timesheets, employee evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  4. Coordinate all aspects of projects, including scheduling.
  5. Order and organize supplies and parts.
  6. Troubleshoot problems and provide support to meet deadlines.
  7. Operate tools and carry out project duties as required.
  8. Participate in project planning, progress meetings, and setting budgets.
  9. Engage in project development, including scoping and tendering.
  10. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure work sites are clean and tidy.
  11. Attend centrally organized training programs.
  12. Perform project duties inside and outside of facilities as required.
  13. Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  14. Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Electrical experience in scoping, tendering, planning, and executing projects.
  • Computer programming skills in the electrical field.
  • Trade ticket or equivalent years of experience in electrical trade.
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints.
  • Good interpersonal skills for working with others.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Sensitivity to safety, self-motivated.
  • Effective time management skills and a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license.
