The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Superintendent to join our growing Integrity Division. This is a field-based, long-term role with travel to remote project sites. The Project Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and directing all aspects of a project from start to completion. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow them to keep multiple small projects on schedule and on budget, while maintaining a primary focus on safety. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and requires strong organizational skills, leadership presence in the field, and a hands-on approach to project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead daily safety meetings and reinforce safety as the top priority
  2. Supervise field crews and subcontractors across multiple projects
  3. Coordinate regularly with client representatives on technical and commercial matters
  4. Drive cost-effective decision-making and execution in the field
  5. Assist with workforce planning
  6. Manage scheduling, progress tracking, and construction milestones
  7. Assist in estimating labor, materials, and other construction-related costs
  8. Ensure compliance with client, company, and regulatory standards
  9. Support the Project Manager in reporting and manpower coordination

Experience/Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with pipeline integrity scopes, including:
    • Mainline integrity Digs/Assessments
    • Station Integrity Digs/Assessments
    • Sleeve Installations
    • Anomaly Repairs
    • Hot Tap and Line Stop
    • Sectional Replacement
    • In-Line Inspection (ILI) Tool Runs
    • Hydrostatic Testing
    • Cathodic Protection System Upgrades
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction, industrial maintenance, or related fields
  • 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and schematics
  • Proficient in: Bluebeam, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar
  • Strong leadership abilities and a hands-on approach
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, safety practices, and quality standards
  • Highly effective communication and client relationship skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Additional certifications are considered assets (e.g. H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space)
