Here's what you'd do :
- Take on a new challenge and apply your cybersecurity and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
- Work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates. Play a key role in shaping the cybersecurity framework of critical transportation systems, ensuring safety and resilience in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and external auditors), manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, and more.
- Analyze program security needs (including laws and regulations), determine security objectives, and develop security risk strategies.
- Plan security activities within the development lifecycle, estimate costs and durations, assess impacts on program execution, and identify training needs.
- Ensure cybersecurity deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Define cybersecurity architecture and requirements, and allocate requirements effectively.
- Cascade requirements to suppliers and manage third-party risks.
- Apply cybersecurity assurance levels and define operating procedures.
- Evaluate if the project/program achieves the targeted cybersecurity level.
- Support technical design meetings for cybersecurity activities.
- Obtain agreement from the program/customer on security measures.
- Manage vulnerabilities, cybersecurity issues, and create action plans.
- Manage communication related to program cybersecurity.
- Report on cybersecurity status.
- Manage external audits and establish lessons learned.
- Promote the client's code of ethics and adhere to high standards of conduct.
- Ensure no 'NO GO' decisions for cybersecurity reasons during gate reviews.
- Deliver cybersecurity outputs on time and within scope.
- Achieve the program's cybersecurity targets and maintain low rework rates.
- Implement vulnerability management processes.
- Respect cybersecurity activities and quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
- Resolve cybersecurity issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and colleagues.
- Utilize cutting-edge cybersecurity standards and technologies to secure transportation systems.
- Contribute to an inclusive, innovative, and forward-thinking work environment.
- Participate in innovative projects.
Here's what you'll get :
Pay : $180k / year.
Hours : 40 hrs / Week.
Length : Temp to Direct.

Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in architecture, design, and development.
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience, including deployment of security technologies.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience with standards like IEC-62443, CLC / TC 50701, APTA, and others.
- Experience performing cybersecurity analysis on Industrial Control Systems.
- Experience leading cybersecurity efforts for Industrial Control Systems.
- Experience with embedded or OT/Industrial systems (railway/aeronautics).
- Experience with cybersecurity analysis on passenger rail systems.
- Experience conducting cyber certification for rapid transit systems in a lead role.
- At least 8 years of experience delivering safety-critical systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) certification.
- Engineering background.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards like ISO 2700X, 62443, NIST, and APTA.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and risk analysis methods.
- Understanding of system and network architecture concepts.
- Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, Security+).
