Overview

BBA is currently seeking a Project Planner. In that capacity, your role will consist of preparing and monitoring schedules.

Type of position: Regular

Responsibilities
  • Develop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning
  • Plan, organize and monitor projects using tools like Primavera P6 and Prism G2
  • Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study manager
  • Generate progress reports and produce performance indicators
  • Update schedules, both weekly and monthly
  • Prepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and project scheduling
  • Maintain all planning and progress reports
  • Propose solutions to the project manager to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedules
  • Exercise independent judgment in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sources
  • Carry out all other related tasks that could help deliver projects
Qualifications
  • College diploma or university degree
  • At least seven years of relevant experience, ideally in the industrial or mining sectors
  • Knowledge of design and construction processes
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6
  • Bilingual (English / French – spoken and written)
  • Asset: Available to travel
  • Asset: experience with EPCM projects
