Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Project Planner in Canada with remote/hybrid arrangements. The role coordinates complex customer projects across divisions, ensuring safe, on-schedule, and within-budget delivery.

You will manage schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications, while coordinating internal teams, vendors, and logistics to keep projects on track. Qualifications include a background in engineering or related field, mining experience, strong Excel and scheduling skills, and willingness

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• Experience as a Maintenance Planner, Project Planner, Project Coordinator, or Project Manager within mining.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and maintenance planning.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and project scheduling (Gantt chart) skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% within Canada.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Bilingualism is an asset.

• Support inventory, procurement, and logistics activities.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports.
• Collaborate with Parts & Services, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Currently, we have an opening for a Project Planner. The Project Planner is responsible for coordinating complex customer projects across multiple business divisions, serving as the primary point of contact for project execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What You Will Bring Along
